About this tool
Paste an original and a changed version to see exactly what was added or removed, line by line, in the familiar green and red style. It is useful for comparing document drafts, config files, copy edits and code snippets. You can ignore case or extra spaces when only formatting differs.
How to use it

- Tick the ignore options if needed.

Does it compare words or lines?
Lines. A changed line appears as one removed line and one added line.
Is there a size limit?
Each side can hold up to 3,000 lines so the page stays responsive.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison runs entirely in your browser.
